First Annual AWEH Conference: In It Together: Art and the Economic Crisis, we drew on a terrific line-up of speakers from across the East End Community--major artists, writers, museum directors, curators, from the real estate community and from artist support groups. In important ways there has never been as important a conference in the Hamptons on art--particularly how to survive as the world passes from an epoch of more to an age of less. We will have more notes on the program but members can hear the entire program on this site on Art and the Economic Crisis page.
The Artists and Writers of East Hampton, (AWEH) is a non-profit organization devoted to supporting the cultural, social and political rights of artists and writers in the East End of Long Island.
